Scrubing Up Well at Nurses Conference
Louisa, Holly and I were lucky enough to attend the Nurse Practitioner New Zealand Conference in Queenstown 18th and 19th June.
The conference attracted 450 delegates with approximately 400 of those being NP's (a good 40% of the NP workforce).
The programme seemed heavily focused on primary care, but did provide an array of topics across four streams including, mental health and addictions, speciality, primary care and professional practice.
The days were long and full and we had a lovely Gala Awards evening at the Winehouse, Gibbston.
There was lots of learning to be had, plenty of networking with new colleagues and re-connecting with old ones.
Overall this was an enjoyable and valuable experience and we were very grateful to have had the opportunity to attend.
