Palliative Care for Care Assistants (Cromwell)

Four 2-hour sessions (Face to Face) - participants need to attend all 4 sessions to complete the training

This programme will lift your skills and help you manage day-to-day with patients who are dying.

Run by the Residential Care Team, this programme introduces the basics of palliative care. Topics include managing pain and other symptoms, grief and loss and exploring communication. This programme is specifically for health care workers / care staff.

Please note: This workshop is not intended for managers, registered or enrolled nurses.
