Alexandra Shop Re-opens

The hospice shop network is buzzing along with the reopening of the Alexandra shop on Monday which was closed for five weeks for earthquake proofing.

It's wonderful to have the Hospice shop profile back front and center with a fresh lick of paint, and new signage. Big thanks to Gitty for rallying the super supportive Alexandra community around her for the Hospice and congratulations on a bumper reopening day!

We are very excited to welcome Tessa Petley (see pic below) onto the team at Bond St shop.Tessa brings her wealth of art and design knowledge to this varied role. Currently also working at the Valley Project as their administrator Tessa is already well versed in working with wonderful volunteers and the fundraising sector.

Thanks to everyone for helping us build awareness on our need for donations. Our multi-headed call for donations was answered mightily and now everyone has been extra busy processing the influx of donations. We have seen an immediate jump in revenue. This kind of campaign really helps to keep the Hospice coffers healthy so a shout out to all our hardworking crew who have to process.
