Join the vibrant and dedicated team at Otago Community Hospices in-patient unit.

Permanent part time - 32 hours per week (0.8FTE)

We are seeking applications from an experienced enrolled nurse to join the vibrant and dedicated team at Otago Community Hospice’s in-patient unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing compassionate and skilled care, ensuring the needs of Hospice patients, their whānau and family are met. This position will work through a rotating roster.

Hospice offers exciting opportunities to develop nursing skills and knowledge in Specialist Palliative care. Our ideal candidate is able to self-manage, think holistically about the needs of patients and families/whanau, have excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork within a framework of continuous improvement.

Candidates need to hold a current annual practicing certificate, be eligible to work in New Zealand and hold a clean driving licence.

Ongoing training and education will be offered to you to achieve our goal of meeting the needs of every palliative care patient in our region.
