0.8 FTE in Central Otago
The role will work in the wider community throughout Central Otago. Working alongside patients and families in their own home and within aged residential care facilities supporting and guiding the staff and leadership to advance quality palliative care. Assessment, critical thinking, liaison, relationship building and co-ordination skills are essential to the role.
Only Registered Nurses eligible to work in New Zealand, with a current Nursing Council of New Zealand annual practicing certificate should apply. Preference will be given to candidates who have post graduate papers in palliative care or a related health speciality. The candidate must be willing to continue tertiary studies, study up to a master degree will be fully supported. The successful candidates will have experience in change management, excellent relationship skills, a current drivers licence and be computer literate.
Ongoing training and education will be offered to enable you to achieve our goal of meeting the needs of every palliative care patient in our Central Otago Region.
