Every year the Otago Community shows each other how much they care by raising thousands in the Hospice Street Appeal. Look out for the yellow bibs and buckets on may 18th and donate generously to help your neighbours live every moment.

We are also looking for volunteeers to help out in the appeal.

Hospice Awareness Week

Hospice Awareness Week is our most significant opportunity to increase public awareness about hospice care as well as raising essential funds. OCH needs to raise $1.5 million every year so that we can continue to provide our services to the community free of charge.

Want to help?

Collect for our annual street appeal
We are looking for volunteers who are able to spare an hour or so collecting money for our appeal on Friday 18th May.

Organise your own fundraising event
Hold a quiz night, a movie night, a sports challenge, auction or a dinner party and have fun while raising funds for hospice! See here for more information on organising your own fundraiser.

Promote Hospice Awareness Week
Corporates can show support through advertising awareness week in their own promotional material - website, intranet, newlsetter, magazine etc. Email kelda.hunter@otagohospice.co.nz for web banners and artwork to use.

Otago Polytechnic fundraiser at the Poolhouse Cafe

Place: The Pool House – Filleul Street, Dunedin
Event: Pool competition with teams of 4 – includes nibbles, prizes, spot prizes and raffles
Entry fee: $15 per person

We would love to see you there, and welcome any sponsorship or donations by the 20th April to allow for arranging the final details for the night.

Otago Community Hospice (OCH) are giving you & a friend the chance to put your body painting skills to practice to paint Hosea Gear's body, one of the rock stars of the Highlanders team.

There's no doubt about it, the Highlanders are in winning form & this is an opportunity to get up close & personal with one of the teams stars.
