The Otago Community Hospice has 300+ volunteers providing assistance in the areas of fundraising, kitchen assistant, gardening, housekeeping, florists, reception, retail shop and complementary therapies. Together they contribute around 300 hours per week to the organization.
There are paid dedicated staff to promote, evaluate and provide ongoing support, training and education for the volunteers.
