the otago community hospice

The Otago Community Hospice is the only community based specialist palliative care service in Otago. The multi-disciplinary team of nurses, doctors, counsellors, social workers and support staff are based in Dunedin, Oamaru, Balclutha and Clyde.

They provide symptom management, respite care and bereavement support for Otago patients and their families/whanau. The hospice also offers education and support to its generalist palliative care partners, rest home staff and GP’s.
