Karen's headshave for Hospice
At 10am Friday morning Karen Bagnall is shaving off her hair in a daring fundraiser for hospice.
A cancer survivor, Karen wanted to raise money in support of the Otago Community Hospice. She never had to go through chemo and lose her hair so considers herself one of the lucky ones. Her friend in the UK was not so lucky, going through chemo a year after Karen's experience, and so this fundraiser has a lot of personal significance for Karen. |
